The Temptation of Saint Anthony by Domenicus van Wijnen
Museum-grade paper. Archival pigment inks. Zero glare.
*Requires framing.

Art Prints
Our giclee art prints are produced on heavyweight 200gsm matte art paper chosen for its smooth, non-reflective surface. Unlike glossy prints that throw back reflections from windows and overhead lights, the matte finish scatters light evenly across the sheet, so the artwork reads clearly from every angle and in any room.
Each print is made with archival pigment inks laid down by precision giclee printers, the same technology trusted by museums and limited-edition print studios. The result is deep, stable color with fine tonal transitions that hold their intensity for decades when displayed indoors away from direct sunlight.
The paper itself is museum grade: acid-free, lignin-free, and manufactured to resist yellowing and embrittlement over time. Ships unframed in a protective roll, ready to be framed.
*Frame is not included with this option.
Hand-stretched on FSC pine. Greenguard Gold inks. Ready to hang.
*Ready to hang out of the box.

Gallery Canvas
Each canvas is printed on a 333 g/m² cotton-polyester composite with a proprietary coating that produces deep blacks, rich saturation, and accurate tonal transitions. The matte finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, eliminating glare from windows and overhead lighting so the artwork stays readable from any position in the room.
The inks are HP Latex, UL GREENGUARD GOLD certified. This means the inks meet the same air quality standards required in hospitals, schools, and nurseries. Non-toxic, odor-free, and safe for any room in your home. HP rates them for up to 200 years of fade resistance indoors, away from direct sunlight.
The canvas is gallery-wrapped by hand over a 1.25 inch (3.2 cm) radiata pine stretcher bar sourced from FSC-certified renewable forests. The wood is kiln-dried, knot-free, and warp-free, engineered to hold tension without sagging over time. A sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers come pre-installed on the back, so the piece is ready to hang the moment it arrives.
*No framing required.
Solid wood floater frame. Floating reveal. Gallery-ready.
*Available on the framed canvas option.

Framed Canvas
The floater frame is milled from solid wood with a matte finish that absorbs light instead of bouncing it back. Unlike glossy mouldings that pick up room reflections, the matte finish keeps attention on the artwork.
The frame sits slightly outside the canvas edge, creating a clean 0.5-inch floating reveal. This gap gives the wrapped canvas a suspended, weightless look, the same presentation used in contemporary galleries and museum installations.
Inside the frame, the canvas is the same 333 g/m² cotton-polyester composite printed with HP Latex GREENGUARD GOLD inks, hand-stretched over FSC-certified radiata pine. Every piece ships with hanging hardware pre-installed.
*Available on the framed canvas option.
Strange translucent bubbles float across a dark, starless sky while tiny figures swarm inside them like insects in glass. In this haunting 1680 painting by Domenicus van Wijnen, the desert hermit sits exhausted in the lower left corner, resting his head heavily on his hand as monsters, floating spheres, and swirling fire erupt from the darkness above. Drawing on the bizarre visual traditions established by Hieronymus Bosch, van Wijnen fills every corner with surreal horrors, strange machinery, and unsettling detail.
Look toward the upper right, where transparent spheres hover above a burning landscape. Streams of fiery orange sparks arc across the night, carrying writhing demons and phantoms toward the upper atmosphere. In the center, chaotic clusters of figures tumble over one another in an endless loop of torment. This dramatic scene reflects the Dutch tradition of moralizing art, testing human resolve against earthly vices while blending theological warning with unbridled imagination. It makes a striking wall art piece for anyone drawn to the strange, dark corners of art history.
